Olivia Coldrey

Olivia brings 25 years’ experience in international energy markets, gained in legal, finance and strategy roles. She has held senior executive positions at Sustainable Energy for All, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership, and the Australian government’s Australian Solar Institute, and as a consultant has advised the Asian Development Bank and United Nations Development Programme. Starting her career as a lawyer, Olivia advised on financial services and political risk insurance transactions at two leading international law firms and in-house at Australia’s export credit agency. She is a member of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency’s Advisory Panel and represents Australia on the Executive Committee of the International Energy Agency’s Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme.

 A Fulbright Scholar and U.S. Department of State Climate Change Fellow, Olivia holds law degrees from the London School of Economics and University of New South Wales, an economics degree from the Australian National University and a PhD from the University of Queensland. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is admitted to practice law in Australia.
