EPP and Nuru highlighted in Microsoft Sustainability Report

Microsoft has released today its 2020 Sustainability Report, which explores the company’s progress to become a carbon negative, water positive, zero waste company. Microsoft intends to be carbon negative by 2030 and remove from the environment the equivalent of all the carbon the company has emitted since its founding by 2050.

As part of its efforts to support climate equity and environmental justice, the report highlights Microsoft’s purchase of Peace Renewable Energy Credits from Nuru’s 1.3 MW solar - plus - storage project in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo. Read Microsoft’s report here.
